1949 Mercury Club Coupe - Full Size 2-Door Coupe (Drag Merc) 2010 HW Premiere Series 35/52 Diecast Scale 1:67 by Hot Wheels

There are certain things I cannot get out of my head, because they were carved with high doses of violence (gratuitous or justified).

For example, Aliens The Return movie (1986), which is for me the NE PLUS ULTRA of all the movies I’ve seen.

Or the suicidal chase of the film Cobra - The strong arm of the law (1986), with Silvester Stallone at the wheel of an "Awsom 50" more commonly known as 1950 Mercury Monterey

I think this car and its driver achieved an incredible synergy in terms of the harshness of their character and a look that says: "Get outta my sight criminal scum or ya’ll regret having breathed 10 feet away from me"...

Ohhh, I cannot deny that I would love to be a renegade cop, with very bad manners and leading a beast like this that Hot Wheels introduce here in its very exaggerated style, taking a Custom Car and turning it into a Dragster (highly modified car for 1/4 mile competitions), designed by Phil Riehlman.

I’m sold with its color scheme (specially the use of golden finishing instead of chromed finishing) and its detailed tampos. I’m doing that of "this year would be on wheels", but not only cars you will see here...

Until next week and may GOD bless us... =)

What a Hot Rod! Extravagant and flamboyant to describe. It's like going for a ride at Las Vegas! The chassis had covered the rear tires. I bet there would be big trouble when the rear tires were punctured.

this car is huge in the real life, like a decent pick-up today, but its design is kinda out of its time cuz i have seen some comic illustrators & artist taking it as a reference for their futuristic stories, specially in the Batman imaginery... BTW, i dunno how they change tires, but i think it would b better to use modern sealed (or armored) tires, that would go like a glove for a car like this HAHAHA... THX for ur visit =)

i’m pretty sure there must b a way to change these rear tires cuz this is not the only vehicle with back cover (specially in the luxury models like this one) the problem is that this is a heavy guy (4 tons -of decadence- or so)... THX for ur visit LEon =)
