Assorted Group of Figures by Bandai / C. Works / Takara Tomy

ENGLISH
The weather in my hometown has been a "tad" unpredictable lately...

Usually we have a glorious sunshine along the first months of the year (uhmmmm, we had some beautiful sunny days but most of the times was raining... =((((()...

This is not the Weather Channel, nor the Weather Blog so, why I’m talking about weather ???...

My main source for "studio lighting" comes from that star in the sky that we call "sun"...

So, what ???...

I was eager to publish these group of figures that I received from an appreciated friend of mine (and fellow collector) from Singapore, as gift and maybe he was thinking that I totally forgot about them, but no way, man !!!.

The weather was not so cooperative and barely a few days ago I could make preparations for this "event", since I didn’t want to make a photo shoot in a cloudy/rainy day...

It would be a pity !!!... Such a present, deserves good pictures so I did my best. =)))))

There is a bit of everything in this group and I will describe them briefly.

Firstly we have a PVC statue of Vegeta in his Dragon Ball Z version, with the classic saiyan armor by Bandai, 6 1/2" high, nicely detailed and with a neat paint job (it reminds me the Banpresto figures), made in 2009.

Then we have a "preloved" vintage statue of Piccolo with his suit of Dragon Ball Z Series, made of plastic resin, 5 1/4" high, very good sculpt, paint job and as gimmicks you can remove the cape and the turban; unfortunately there is no info about the brand or manufacture date.

We continue with a trading figure of Crowley Hamon from the Gundam Mobile Suit 8 in 1 Character Set; I barely know this series so the only thing I could say, is that she was part of the Zeon faction and the lover of Ramba Ral, a wellknown military tactician and guerrilla warfare expert, who was killed during an attack to the White Base; Crowley died when she tried to avenge her lover; for a trading figure by Bandai, is very well done and it includes a nice clear display base.

The following figure is a rare gashapon by C. Works depicting an old mini diorama in the forest, indeed is the hidden figure of a set of 5, with the style of the eastern medieval, very delicate, made in 2004.

The next figure is a gashapon by Takara Tomy from its Cutie Collection Marble Mascot Series; I have no idea about the character and it doesn’t help much the fact that its name is in japanese =PPPPP; the figure is very cute (seriously, did I say that ???), looks great and includes a yellow display base.

And last but not least, another trading figure of what I think is another pilot from the Gundam series (if someone knows about her, let mw know =), with a neat paint job and sculpt, I guess it was made by Bandai and I used a display base that came in the shipping box (perhaps my friend thought it would work fine and it did !!!).

The gift included 2 diecast already published... It’s awesome, thank you so much, pal !!!...

Pro 11:24-25 "There is that scattereth and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty. The liberal soul shall be made fat; and he that watereth shall be watered also himself."

Hope to see you next time... =)

The lady by the rockside is my favorite of them all. I think all the figures in this post is not bad, the painting finishing is still decent. It's nice that a fellow blogger/collector friends send some toys to you. That's what they call friendship without boundaries hehehe

you mean, the "lady in the forest" mini-dio by C. Works ???... hey, yep is beautiful, something really different to what i’m used... all the figures have the quality you can expect from the respective brands, with no issues... i totally agree that such gestures of generosity are something very special... being the second time it happens, i’m still amazed !!!

Nice to see them in your good possession and thank you for doing a post on them pal. These toys will be happy if they can express themselves like in 'Toy Story'.

These are detailed! Initially i thought they were banpresto items like you've mentioned. For trading figures they are worth while to own.
